Analysis and research projects
We prepare sector, regulatory and economic analysis that sets out the facts and allows the board to weigh its options.
Many management decisions depend on developments that do not show up in a company's own data: regulatory change, sector trends or competitors' moves. Good analysis describes them accurately and in a usable form.
We work from primary sources, public data and conversations with experts. We also run research and development projects for companies and institutions, with a clearly defined research question and timetable.

Frequently asked questions
Does regulatory analysis replace a legal opinion?
No. Regulatory analysis describes changes in the law and their commercial effects, but it is not a legal opinion. Where legal interpretation is needed, we work with the client's legal advisers.
What sources do you use?
Legislative documents, official statistics, reports by public bodies and industry organisations, specialist literature and interviews with experts. Every report sets out its sources and method so that the conclusions can be verified.
Can the analysis be published?
Yes, if the client so decides. Analysis intended for publication undergoes additional fact-checking and editing, and its release can be combined with a communications programme.
